Operation Outdoor Freedom Donation

Supported by Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Operation Outdoor Freedom is a program of the Florida Forest Service and Friends of Florida State Forests that provides recreational opportunities to wounded veterans. Areas of Florida state forests dedicated to this effort are fully equipped to accommodate the needs of wounded veterans, providing a unique opportunity for recreation and rehabilitation.

We Need Your Help!

Friends is partnering with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumers Services' Florida Forest Service to provide these unique outdoor recreational and rehabilitative experiences for our nation's heroes. The success of Operation Outdoor Freedom depends largely on support from local communities and citizens. Help give back to those who have sacrificed so greatly for our freedoms.

Businesses, landowners and citizens can support Operation Outdoor Freedom by hosting an event for wounded veterans, volunteering, or making a donation to the program. All donations go directly to hosting events and exploring opportunities for new outdoor recreation activities.

For general donations, please select the “Statewide Program” option in the Event field drop-down below.

Donations of any amount are welcomed. From $5 to $5000, the impact of your support for our wounded veterans is invaluable. Under current Florida law, all donations to Friends for Operation Outdoor Freedom are tax-deductible.
